The Kansas City Museum is offering extra activities this summer for parents and children. 


Every Wednesday and Friday in July and August, parents and their youngsters can stop by the museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd., for the Museum Kids Summer Drop-Ins.


Activities will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include games, music, stories, and arts and crafts. Each week will feature a different historical theme. 


July 11 will include special guest Radio Disney from 11 a.m. to noon, which will combine upbeat music with interactive games. Radio Disney will also have prize giveaways. 


The museum’s theme for July 11 and 13 is maps. Upcoming themes include transportation, music and gardens. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
