Despite Freedom PAC’s campaign against Kansas City’s earnings tax, voters overwhelmingly passed the tax Tuesday.
Jackson County and Platte County voters favored the tax by well over 50 percent.
Here are the results:
Jackson County:
Yes – 83 percent
No – 17 percent
Platte County:
Yes – 68 percent
No – 31 percent
