It is said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well that’s exactly what happened last week when the illustrious Kansas City, Mo., City Council approved “emergency” ordinance # 140263, allocating a little over $22,500 to Aim4Peace.

This cranky lil’ canine thought she knew what “emergency” meant, but now she’s not so sure. About the only emergency we see in this is if Aim4Peace runs out of free hotdogs or T-shirts!

Seriously, continuing to throw money at the ever increasing homicide rate will not make the problem go away. But that’s exactly what continues to happen with Aim4Peace. They continue to get funded and the abysmal results are the same. This old doggie says stop the insanity.

Aim4Peace has done nothing to quell the violence or bring down the murder rate in this cow-town and the time has come to pull the plug on their publicly-funded parade. The taxpayers of this city deserve better than the miserable results Aim4Peace continues to espouse as “effective.” Given the recent spate of highway shootings, maybe these goomers should take up a post in the Grandview Triangle and have a weenie roast.

That’ll stop those highway shootings, won’t it?
