The Indian Mound Neighborhood put its clean on over the weekend, eradicating the community of over 15 tons of trash, old tires and yard waste and painting over various gang graffiti tags along St. John Avenue. The organized clean up is a first for Indian Mound as an association, having been the beneficiary of ONE Inc. sponsored clean-ups through the years. This newshound gives organizers, even Mr. Daisy, First Kitty to Neighborhood President David Remley, some high fives, or should we say, high paws!
