KANSAS CITY, Missouri — The Kansas City Police Department have ruled a recent suspicious death in the Northeast as a homicide.

According to the Kansas City Police Department’s media unit, William P. Simmons, 61, of Kansas City, Mo., died on Aug. 23, 2015, after firefighters discovered his body after putting out a fire at 306 Oakley Ave. Although no arrests have yet been made, homicide detectives are looking for Black 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe, Limited Sport, 010T1E they believe to be connected to the crime.
