Herbert Patrick Scothorne
1954 – 2019

Herbert Patrick Scothorne, age 64 of Sugar Creek, MO, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, January 27, 2019.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, at 11 a.m. at the New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, MO. The family will greet guests starting at 10 a.m.

Herb was born on June 22, 1954 in Kansas City MO, the son of Douglas and Phyllis (Mcconnell) Scothorne.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years Marilyn Joyce (Burklund) Scothorne; Daughters Amber (Kevin) Ledbetter and Annette Money; Grandsons Brett (Dana) Ledbetter and Vincent (Nicole) Ledbetter; Granddaughters Taylor and Jordyn, Great-grandchildren Alexis, Sammy and Wyatt. Also surviving are six nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Doug Scothorne, one sister Dianna Adams, and his good friend Paul Henrich.
