Due to a windy and chilly morning last Saturday, the Green Art Day has been rescheduled for Friday, April 22, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Concourse Park, 200 Benton Blvd.

A host of green inspired activities are scheduled for this free event.

Attendees will be encouraged to paint and decorate trash barrels with supplies provided by Parisole Arts Foundation. Later, the trash barrels will be distributed throughout Northeast to encourage residents to throw away their trash.

Other activities will include a flower pot and planting craft, jugglers, dancers, hoola hoopers, among other green activities.

All are encouraged to attend the Earth Day themed event, sponsored by Parisole Arts Foundation, Scarritt Renaissance, the Kansas City Museum and Mosaic Brain.
