Giacomo Jack Leone, 87, Northeast Kansas City, Mo., died Thursday, March 3, 2011. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 318 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Church, prior to Mass. Arrangements are by Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, Kansas City, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Sacred Heart Manor, 261 Benham St., Hamden, CT 06514; or Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145.
Jack was born December 7, 1923, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in the 13th Fighter Command. He worked for Columbia Door & Window Co. before retiring after 40 years of service.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, two half-brothers, one half-sister and son-in-law Allen Spack.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rose Marie (Termini) Leone; daughters, Elizabeth Spack, Stephanie Leone, Jacqueline Streiker (Stephen); grandchildren, Angela and Alex Biscari; great-grandsons, Dominic and Alex Biscari; and sister-in-law, Sr. Stephanie Termini.
