Frontier STEM High School held a career fair Friday, Jan. 25 for over 400 high school students. Representatives from several companies and organizations were in attendance to talk to students about future career opportunities, including the Kansas City Fire Department, Kansas City Police, and the Northeast News. Students asked field-related questions, discussed what training is required for each position, and what a typical day looked like at each job. Students walked away with a broader understanding of various career paths that are available to them right here in the Kansas City area.
