Eleos Coffee, located at 3401 Independence Avenue on the South-East corner of Indiana, will be hosting an after-hours social event. The community is invited to come and learn about the coffee roasting process, and partake in some delicious sample tasting. In addition to sample tasting, the event will host demonstrations on brewing and information about custom coffee roasting and international beans.
“When we got into this business about seven years ago, we wanted to find a way to use that to reach out to the community” said Dan Smith, founder of Eleos Coffee. “We are interested in finding a way to marry our knowledge and passion for coffee roasting with the ongoing efforts to transform the Northeast Community.”
Rebecca Koop, Events Director at the North East Kansas City Chamber of Commerce originated the event and said she believes this is a great opportunity for the community to support a local business. “Eleos Coffee has been a member of the chamber of commerce since 2012” said Koop. “We want to assist them, any way we can.”
The event will take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 between the hours of 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Parking is available on Indiana and behind Eleos Coffee in their fenced lot. Eleos Coffee holds regular business hours of Monday – Friday: 7 AM to 2 PM and Saturday: 8 AM to 2 PM.
