The East High School boys soccer team continues to run roughshod over the competition as they kick their way to the State Championship game this Saturday.
The Bears beat perennial, boys soccer powerhouse Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, MO in overtime in the State Semifinals on Friday afternoon!
Leading goal scorer Jackson Twizerimana kicked in the winning goal on the keeper's left side with less than 7 minutes left in overtime in what had been a hard-fought scoreless game to that point.
East will meet the winner of the semi-final game between Springfield Catholic or Ladue Horton Watkins High School. The championship game will be played tomorrow, Saturday at 1:30 pm. Watch the game live here: https://www.mshsaa.tv/
