Diana L Oyerly, 70, passed peacefully on January 5th, 2023 with her sister at her side. Diana, born November 11th, 1952, to Ronald and Vivian Oyerly. Diana graduated from Northeast High school in 1972 where many of her lifelong friends were made. Diana has been a lifelong resident of the Historic Northeast community. Diana was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. She served as a eucharist minister, sang in the choir, and volunteered in the gift shop. She is survived by her son John C. Vargas and his wife Carmen Vargas and sisters; Judith Ann Lawson, Carol Jean Oyerly and Vivian Elaine Oyerly,as well as many nieces and nephews. On January 12th there will be a visitation with Rosary from 6 pm to 8 pm at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Kansas City, MO 64138. On January 13th at 10 am the funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 416 W. 12th Street, Kansas City,MO.64105, burial to follow mass at Park Lawn Funeral/Cemetery.
