SATURDAY, MAY 27 – MyHealth Soccer Tournament and Health Fair sponsored by the Mattie Rhodes Center and KC Parks. Free food, raffles and health vendors. Free COVID vaccines and basic health screenings from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 9th and Van Brunt Soccer Field.

MONDAY, MAY 29 – (Memorial Day) – The historic William Rockhill Nelson Memorial Chapel/Mausoleum, will be open for public viewing from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Mt. Washington Cemetery (614 S. Brookside Ave., Independence, MO). Cemetery representatives will be on-site to share the history of the building and answer questions.
