MONDAY, JANUARY 30 – HEARTS & CRAFTS NIGHT! Head to Happy Gillis from 6-9 p.m. to make Valentines for your besties, or your cats. Have some wine. Bring the kids, or don’t. $5 cover for adults, kiddos get in free. Come get crafty folks! We’ll have wine, cocktails, and snacks for $$.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2 – Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) invites you to learn about two (2)  
reuse proposals for the Scarritt School site (3509 Anderson) at 6:30 at St. Anthony Parish Hall, 309 Benton Blvd. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the proposals, ask questions of the development teams, and share feedback with KCPS. Your feedback will help guide the reuse decisions made by KCPS.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3 – Experience the rich culture and history of Kansas City’s 18th & Vine Jazz District at the 2000 Vine First Fridays Open House starting at 6 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the renovated 150-year-old buildings, taste Vine Street Brewing Co. beer, food from The Prospect KC, tattoos by Keno G, and live painting by Warren Harvey.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3 – The Don Bosco Centers Mouse Races are back! From 7-9 p.m., enjoy a fun night of mouse betting, food, and drinks with friends, all while supporting a great cause. Tables $300 each, for 8-10 people. Beer is included in table costs, and a signature cocktail will be available for purchase. Guests should bring food to share, potluck style, with their tables!

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 4 – Don’t miss the Historic Northeast Sustainability Town Hall from 2-4 p.m. at Independence Boulevard Christian Church, 606 Gladstone Blvd. A panel featuring five representatives from different organizations doing work in the Northeast will discuss sustainability-related topics and take questions from attendees.
