April 28, 29 & 30 – The exciting new play, ‘Gabby for God,’ premieres at The Arts Asylum on Thursday, April 21. ‘Gabby for God,’ by Kansas City playwright Jennifer Cannady, explores the universal struggle to find common ground between differing beliefs. Located at 824 Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, Mo., the Arts Asylum’s new location is an addition to the A to Z Theatrical Campus. “Gabby for God” runs through Sunday, April 30.

Thursday April, 28 – Sip & Shop at the Kansas City Museum’s Wisteria Boutique from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with local artist Annie Austen. She has created an exclusive collection of jewelry inspired by the history and architecture of the museum. Her jewelry is all hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant, making it the perfect Mother’s Day gift. Thursday April, 28Family Maker Night at the North-East Branch Library begins at 6 p.m.  “Growing Plants” is the theme and participants can make these crafts to take home: a grass pet, and a seed ball to grow native flowers. Saturday April, 30 – The Kansas City Museum presents the Blue River Documentary at 10:15 a.m. Thursdays – Saturdays, 12:15 p.m. Sundays, in the JE Dunn Construction Theater. Featuring oral histories and the ecological and cultural history of the 40-mile river, visitors can learn more about the Renew the Blue campaign.

Sunday May 1 Jerusalem Farm‘s 10 Year Anniversary at St. Anthony’s Parish 309 Benton Boulevard, 4pm Mass, 5pm Silent Auction & Cocktails, 6pm Dinner, 8-10pm Celebration.



Every Sunday – Art Garden KC, an outdoor art festival featuring local handmade arts/crafts, food trucks, live music, open mic, family activities and more! Free to attend. Located at 2233 Lexington Ave from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (weather permitting)
