March 25 – Knights of Columbus Chapter 15287, Lent Fish Fry, Holy Cross Parish, 5106 St. John Ave. 6-9 p.m. in the Parish Hall. $10 includes 2 tilapia filets, cole slaw, fries and a drink. Desserts available for extra charge.

March 25 – Lenten Fish Dinner at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 10113 E. Lexington, Independence MO. Served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Dinners from $12 to $14.50 include choices of boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, catfish filets, baked battered cod filets, french fries, boiled potatoes, coleslaw, hush puppies and cornbread. Ice tea, coffee, lemonade or water included with dinner. Beer and wine will be available. Fish sandwich with fries is $5; macaroni and cheese is $3.50. A la carte items may be purchased separately. Desserts are available separately.

March 25 – St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 309 Benton Blvd.  Fish taco dinner from 5 to 8 pm. 3 tacos with rice and beans, $10 in the St. Joseph Hall. Free film w/popcorn, “Joseph of Nazareth” 8pm in St. Anthony’s gym.

March 26 – Bee KC is installing bees at the Pendleton Heights Community Orchard and Howard’s Farm (521 Wabash Ave.) that day from 3:30-5 p.m. Please join for a hands on demonstration and refreshments. RSVP http://www.howardskc.com/events-2

April 2 & 3 – Mattie Rhodes Center has teamed up with GCI in efforts to get more people vaccinated! There will be music, vendors, food trucks, and vaccine tents! Along with an adult soccer tournament, all soccer participants will get a free shirt! Champions will get trophies and a champions shirt! Abril 2 & 3 – ¡El Centro de Mattie Rhodes y Guadalupe Centers se aun asociado para vacunar a más personas! Habrá música, comida, proveedores de salud, y vacunas disponibles.
