Approximately 25 people attended the event, which also included a delectable breakfast spread. Koop hosted the event next door to her pottery shop at St. John Community Gardens. Sharon Goldstein of Kansas City Community Gardens gave a presentation about the organization and upcoming workshops. Kansas City Community Gardens has worked with several Northeast gardens, including Mattie Rhodes, Don Bosco, area schools and more. Leslie Collins
