Thursday, Oct. 26 – Saturday, Oct. 28 – Get ready to run Amuck, Amuck, Amuck Pop-Up Bar with the Sanderson Sisters! Join them for spooky cocktail concoctions and snacks in this Hocus Pocus inspired pop-up, haunting PH Coffee on Thursday, Friday & Saturday! Advanced reservations recommended. Thursday, October 26 & Friday, October 27 – Whatsoever Community Center Haunted House & Trick or Treat at 1201 Ewing Ave. from 5-8 p.m. Looking for volunteers and candy donations.

Saturday, October 28 – The Cliff Hanger Run 5K, 10K, Walk & Kids’ Fun Run starts at 200 Benton Blvd. (The Colonnade at Concourse Park) at 9 a.m. Come run Cliff Drive and see the scenic route, historic homes, the Kansas City Museum, a waterfall on the bluffs, and more! Saturday, October 28 – Community Drop Off event (clean up) 8am – 12-noon, Dumpsters will be located in: Lykins Square, 4115 E 7th St,Budd Park, 5001 St John Ave, Sheffield Park, 6900 E 12th St, Advance Auto parking lot at 7806 US-24, Harmony Park, East 10th St & Agnes Ave, Electronic drop off at 9th & Van Brunt soccer fields. Sunday, October 29 – The Marvin Byas Singers will perform a selection of songs dedicated to the Native American people at St. John’s Anglican Church, 517 S. Kensington. “Land of the Sky Blue Waters” will begin at 4:30 pm. For more information visit themarvinbyassingers.com or stjohnsanglicanchurch.org. Free, donations suggested.

Tuesday, October 31 – 28th annual, Scare-It safe Halloween event, 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Gladstone Boulevard near the Kansas City Museum. Eight blocks of car-free, safe trick or treating presented by the Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood Association. Free candy, food trucks and more.  
Starting Friday, November 3 – Winter Magic on Cliff Drive is back! Come experience the most fantastic one mile of synchronized holiday lights this side of the North Pole! $25 per car. Winter Magic, in partnership with Kansas City Parks and Recreation Board of Commissioners, is the city’s premier, drive-thru winter event! Nightly through December 31.
