Book Of The Week: “Martha Stewart’s Cake Perfection (100+ Recipes for the Sweet Classic, from Simple to Stunning)”

This week’s book recommendation comes from Diana Ash, Senior Library Assistant at the North-East Branch of the Kansas City Public Library.

Diana chose “Martha Stewart’s Cake Perfection (100+ Recipes for the Sweet Classic, from Simple to Stunning)” by America’s Test Kitchen for our creative beginnings series.

“I’m a big Martha fan and love looking through her books,” Diana said. “I never make any of the recipes or buy any of the special ingredients (edible flowers, zucchini blossoms, saffron threads, edible gold leaf), but it is fun to look at the beautiful photos and dream about Splatter Cake with Passionfruit Curd, Pistachio-Cardamom Bundt or Strawberry Ombre Cake with Rose-Gold Leaf.”

We can’t wait to test some of these out! This book is available as an e-book or physical item at https://kclibrary.bibliocommons.com/
