This Book of the Week was chosen by Samantha Edwards, Youth and Family Engagement Librarian at the North-East Branch Library.

Samantha chose “Leo: A Ghost Story” by Mac Barnett and Christan Robinson.

“Leo is a ghost who has been kicked out of the house he was haunting for many years,” Samantha said. “He floats to the city to roam for a while. There, Leo meets a little girl with a big imagination who assumes he is just another imaginary friend, not a real ghost! As always, Mac Barnett manages to make the story witty and heartfelt and Christan Robinson creates the liveliest illustrated children (and ghosts).”
