House Bill 793, sponsored by State Representative John Rizzo has cleared the House Select Committee on Commerce. The bill would recognize the book, Missouri’s Great Flood of 1993, written by Ken Keiser and published by The Northeast News as the state’s official work of history documenting the flood of 1993 in the state of Missouri. The next step for the bill would be a floor vote in the House.
