Community Health Fair
A Community Health Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 2732 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. Free health screenings, education and health resources will be available to attendees. Refreshments and beverages will be provided.
Graffiti Abatement Training
Kansas City’s Graffiti Abatement Program is offering training for area residents regarding proper usage of city provided power washers. A representative from Hotsy Equipment Company will also be on site at 4900 Swope Parkway at 9 a.m. to provide instructions on using the Taginator graffiti removal product. Those interested in abating graffiti are invited to attend.

A Community Resource Fair hosted by the Penny Mill Foundation will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Blue Valley Park, 23rd and Topping. Activities will include special speakers, games, music, face painting and more.
Deferred Action Application Center
CCO and Kansas/Missouri DREAM Alliance will operate a Deferred Action Application Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Guadalupe Centers Inc., 1015 Avenida Cesar E. Chavez, Kansas City, Mo. Trained volunteers and immigration attorneys will be on hand to assist with applications. Interested individuals are asked to register for the event at http://deferredaction.eventbrite.com. Deferred action is for those who illegally arrived in the U.S. as a child.

Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 4300 Independence Ave. Topics will include Google Fiber and the upcoming Cliff Hanger Run.
