Take a hard hat tour of Corinthian Hall, the more than 100-year-old home of the Robert A. Long family. Kansas City Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd., Kansas City, Mo., will host the free tours at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

La Chalupa Farmers Market
Mattie Rhodes’ La Chalupa Farmers Market will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature locally grown produce. The farmers market will be held every Thursday at the Mattie Rhodes Center, 148 N. Topping Ave., Kansas City, Mo. SNAP/EBT cards will be accepted.
Million Dollar Movie
Each month, North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd., Kansas City, Mo., presents some of the best in classic cinema for your viewing enjoyment. Refreshments will be provided and the free movie starts at 10 a.m.

In the Pink of the Evening Concert Series
Check out Northeast Arts KC’s “In the Pink of the Evening Concert Series” from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Concourse Park located at St. John Avenue and Benton Boulevard in Historic Northeast. Rex Hobart and the Misery Boys will perform. All are invited to attend the free concert.
Hawgs ‘n History
Shine up the ol’ chrome pony and join the Kansas City Museum for the second Hawgs n History ride this year from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 20. Cost is $25. Led by historian and Harley Davidson enthusiast Michael Bushnell, riders will travel up to the Jesse James Farm and other famous locations. Meet at the Kansas City Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd., Kansas City, Mo.
Walk4Life
Join Kansas City Health Department’s Aim4Peace program for Walk4Life from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Central High School track located at the intersection of Linwood and Indiana Avenues. Attendees are encouraged to wear white and to sign a “commitment to peace” agreement. Rally begins at 6 p.m. and a peace walk will begin at 7:45 p.m. through the surrounding neighborhoods.

Community Gospel Benefit Concert
A number of Jackson County churches will be joining together to make a difference in Kansas City schools. Celebrate at Evangel Church, 1414 E. 103rd St., Kansas City, Mo., for a night of inspirational worship. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and concert begins at 6 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Emmanuel Child and Family Development Center, which empowers inner city youth to make positive decisions and improve their academic levels.

Popsicle Parade
Decorate your bikes, trikes, wagons, wheelchairs and strollers for the annual Popsicle Parade at Budd Park located on St. John Avenue and Denver in Historic Northeast. To decorate your set of wheels, meet at the park’s north playground at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24. Northeast Arts will provide most of the decorations, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Parade starts at 7 p.m. at the north playground and prizes will be given for winning floats. Participants can stroll through the park and to the swimming pool for free popsicles. The parade is made possible by Northeast Arts KC and NorthEastminster Presbyterian Church.
