KC Museum Hard Hat Tour
Take a hard hat tour of Corinthian Hall, the 100+ year old home of lumber baron Robert A. Long and his family. Visitors will see Corinthian Hall in mid-renovation, the bare interior of the building exposed for the first time in decades. Visitors will also tour the exhibit inside Corinthian Hall: Planning for the Future: Find History at Kansas City Museum. Admission is free and tours will be held Wednesday through Saturday at 2 p.m. at the museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd.

NEKCHS Meeting
The Northeast Kansas City Historical Society (NEKCHS) will host its monthly meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Scuola Vita Nuova, 544 Wabash, Kansas City, Mo. Enter through the door on the Wabash side on the corner of Wabash and Independence Avenue. Principal Nicole Goodman will be the guest.
Google Training for Teens
Google experts will be available at the North-East Public Library, 6000 Wilson Rd., to train teens on using all the technology Google has to offer. Training will begin at 5 p.m. at the library.
MoDOT Public Meeting
The Missouri Department of Transportation will host a series of public meetings to discuss the preferred alternative regarding the The Paseo interchange to the Blue Ridge Cutoff on I-70. In 2013, MoDOT gathered community feedback on the three improvement alternatives under consideration for I-70: No-Build, Geometric Improvements, and Interchange Consolidations. Based on public input and detailed analysis, MoDOT is recommending a Preferred Alternative for the roadway. A public meeting will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, 4801 Linwood Blvd., KCMO. For more information about the study, visit www.modot.org/kansascity/metroi70.

Mattie Rhodes First Fridays Reception
Mattie Rhodes will host a First Fridays Reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the main gallery, 915 & 919 W. 17th St., Kansas City, Mo. The exhibit will feature videos on the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, Peru, and handwoven, naturally dyed Alpaca wool textiles, ponchos Chullo hats and more for sale. The exhibit also explores the vital traditions of weaving, spinning, dyeing, and knitting in Peruvian highland communities of the Center for Traditional Textile of Cusco, Peru.

Scarritt Coffee Club Monthly Gathering

Knights of Columbus Monthly Breakfast
Knights of Columbus will host its monthly breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at St. Anthony’s St. Joseph Hall, 3208 Lexington Ave., Kansas City, Mo.
