A man threatened to kill himself after allegedly stabbing a woman Sunday evening in Northeast.
Police arrived in the 2800 block of East 10th Street about 6:13 p.m. The victim caller said the suspect had stabbed her earlier in the day and she feared he was retrieving a knife to cut her again.
When the police arrived, the suspect was standing in the yard of the residence, holding razors to his neck and threatening suicide. After police negotiated with him for about 45 minutes, the suspect surrendered.
The woman went to an area hospital. Her injuries were non-life threatening.
