BREAKING: Tuesday, Sept. 3, Northeast High School’s Principal Alisha Glover sent out a press release disclosing a recent student death.

The identity of this student, as well as cause of death, remains confidential beyond the initial release, which stated this as a “tragic incident.”

Principal Glover encourages parents with children attending Northeast High School to welcome open conversation and communication with their students.

Northeast High School’s counseling department urges those in need of support to reach out for help, according to the press release.

Northeast News staff will provide additional information regarding this incident as it is released to the public.
