Dora M. (Lampman) Alexander
February 6. 1937- August 27, 2020
Dora was born February 6, 1937 in Pettis County, MO. She was one of 14 children born to Henry T. Lampman and Flossie Marie Hoch. Following her graduation from Leeton High School in 1955, she moved to Kansas City. She met Paul O. Alexander Jr. and they were married on January 24, 1959. They welcomed a daughter, Dorrina, and a son, Derek. Once her children began college, she began her second career, earning her Beauty Operator license in 1982, styling hair at various salons around North Kansas City for nearly 30 years.

Dora began her heavenly life on August 27, 2020, joining her parents, her husband Paul, and siblings Wanda, Charles, Norma, Mary, Hattie, J.R., Stanley, Raymond, and Forrest Berry.

She is survived by her children, Dorrina Alexander-Partain (Mike) and Derek D. Alexander (Karen), grandchildren Andrew, Ian, Kira, Ella, and siblings Vietta Begemann, Everett Lampman, Christine Detherage, Katherine Anders, brother-in-law Joe Dorsh, sister-in-law Beverly Roth, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 3, 6-8 p.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600
