The City of Kansas City, Mo., Public Works Department is advising motorists that Highland Avenue and Vine Street will be changed to a pair of one-way streets between 17th Terrace and 18th Street beginning Monday, Jan. 24. In the changed area, traffic on Highland Avenue will travel one-way northbound and traffic on Vine Street will travel one-way southbound.
“I am pleased to assist the businesses and visiting patrons of the 18th and Vine District to have a more enjoyable experience,” said 3rd District Councilwoman Sharon Sanders-Brooks.
This change is being made to provide improved traffic flow in response to increased activity in the area.
