A 71- year-old woman living in the 3200 block of East 10th Street was confronted by a black male suspect in her residence Thursday, Dec. 15.

The victim sexually assaulted the woman for a period of several hours. The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 35 and 40, approximately 6 feet tall, 165 to 175 pounds with brown eyes and medium colored skin. He was also described as being bald with a goatee and mustache. He also has two scars on his left forearm which appear to be from burns. The suspect was dressed in black clothing and was soft spoken with a lower voice.
