On this week’s episode of the Northeast Newscast, Editorial Intern Grace Kertz is joined by the Deputy Director of the Latinx Education Collaborative (LEC), Susana Elizarraraz. LEC works to reduce barriers to increase Latinx educators in K-12 classrooms. Elizarraraz shares LEC’s establishment, current efforts and collaboration with RevED. Throughout, she provides significant data about the importance of their efforts, its effect on students and the success and growth LEC is seeing.
