Ron Soriano, known in the community as “Big Ron,” moved to Kansas City when he was 13 years old. Born in Los Angeles, he has always been interested in drawing. After moving to the midwest, he attended and graduated from Northeast High, and decided to pursue his passion for the tattoo industry.

He completed a one year apprenticeship and earned his tattoo license in 2013. His tattoo shop, Good Times Studio, located at 6416 E. Truman Road, opened to the community three years ago.

Ron is a winning competitor at the Kansas City Tattoo Arts Convention, and won three “Tattoo of the Day” awards in 2017 in the Black & Gray category and another in 2018.

Ron will be attending this year’s Tattoo Convention Friday, May 10-12 at the Sheraton Crown Center in Kansas City.
