Jackson County offers yard waste collection center

Now through October, Jackson County residents may recycle their yard waste at the Eastern Jackson County Yard Waste Collection Center in Oak Grove.

The center is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jackson County residents must pay a reduced fee, anywhere from $1 for a bag, to $10 per cubic yard of waste in a truck or trailer. Non-residential waste ranges from $2 for a bag to $25 for a pickup truck of waste.

The Collection Center is located at 37910 E. Pink Hill Road, Oak Grove, Mo. 64075. For more information, visit jacksongov.org.
