Officers were dispatched to an area near 12th and Hardesty on a reported shooting at about 1:00 am.
They however located the crime scene at Independence ave and Hardesty. 
The initial investigation shows two vehicles pulled into a convenience store parking lot. There was some type of discussion between the occupants of the vehicles and then shots were fired.
One adult male Victim was located and transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and crime scene investigators are processing the scene.
