Coming up May 30, All Christians Serving Together, KC Restoration Church and Hope City will host a concert and car show drive out at the Northeast Athletic Field, 6500 St. John Ave., behind SuperFlea.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Kansas Citians are welcome to express their love for cars as well as their love for Christ. The event will include a hydraulics contest and will award two grand prizes for the best car shown and “best hop.” In order to enter in the car show, a participant must pay $15 to register.

For those less interested in the car show, there will be free horse rides, live music, free popcorn, snow cones, hot dogs and more for attendees to enjoy.

Pastor of  KC Restoration Church Efrain Gonzalez wants the community to be more involved with the church and for people to experience God in a new light. The concert and car show also aims to raise awareness to stop violent crimes in Kansas City and preach the love of God. By making entry to the event free, Gonzalez hopes that it will encourage more community members to join.

The religious organizations call for community members to join them from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 30, at the Northeast Athletic Field for live music, fancy cars and a good time.
