On the morning of Saturday, October 8, the annual Cliff Hanger 5K and 8K run was held in the Historic Northeast. Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences served as the host of the race, which began and ended at Cliff Drive’s western gate, adjacent to The Paseo. The race began at 10:00 a.m., and was followed by a party at KCU in celebration of the university’s centennial. The party included free food, live music, yard games, face painting, and plenty of giveaways.
