Start at Zero Bilingual Playgroup and Open Play
If you’d like to bring your child to play, stop by the Success by 6 Center during this time! We have toys, activities and fun during Open Play time. Playgroup is held from 10am to 12pm and Open Play is held from 1pm to 5pm at 555 Olive.

Friday, April 26

Northeast Library Storytime
Join in for storytime at the Northeast branch for singing, dancing, stories, and fun activities that activate your little one’s brain! Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers ages 0-5. This event is held every Friday at 11am at 6000 Wilson Rd.

Saturday, April 27

4th-Annual PAL Free Clothing Giveaway
The Police Athletic League will be hosting their 4th-annual giveaway! There will be free gently worn clothes, shoes, and coats for all ages. Plus, there will be an ice cream truck, hot dogs, and more! This event will be held Saturday, April 27th from 10am to 12pm at the PAL Center (1801 White, KCMO 64126). This event is free and open to the public

National Mural Day Celebration
Join the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Northeast News, and the community in celebrating National Mural Day. Historic Northeast has 25+ amazing murals painted by local artists. We will have a video tour of Northeast murals along with a self-guided mural tour map. This event will be held Tuesday, May 7th from 6pm to 8pm at 2807 Independence Blvd.

Northeast Neighborhood Cleanup Day
Northeast Alliance Together (NEAT) organizes two semi-annual cleanups each year. The next cleanup has been scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019. If you would like to help clean up your neighborhood, contact your neighborhood association to find out what you can do to help!
