The KC City Council will meet Thursday, December 13th at 3 p.m. on the 26th Floor, Council Chamber, at City Hall (414 E 12th St). All meetings are open to the public.

Kansas City Museum Fairy Princess 2018
Come visit the fabulous Fairy Princess at the museum at 800 Broadway in Downtown Kansas City while Corinthian Hall is under construction. This event will be held Friday December 14th from 3pm to 7pm. Tickets are $10 per child and includes a small gift, sweet treat, and one printed photo. Tickets can be purchased at kansascitymuseum.org.

 

KC Streetcar Holiday Jam
Live music on the KC Streetcar in partnership with 90.9 The Bridge. Friday, Dec. 15, 4:00-6:00pm: Victor & Penny on board the Streetcar (Original Jazz Music)on board the Streetcar (Original and Covers: Alternative Rock) performs as part of Visit KC’s Downtown Dazzle. Kansas City Holiday Express Train at Union Station
One of Kansas City’s favorite holiday traditions, the Kansas City Southern Holiday Express Train brings Santa and his elves to Union Station. Guests can visit with Santa and tour the train for free. This magical holiday train rolls in for a five-day visit from Dec. 14-18. Saturday, December 15th will be held from 10am to 8pm. The Holiday Express train includes a smiling tank car Rudy; a flatcar carrying Santa’s sleigh, reindeer and a miniature village; a gingerbread boxcar; the elves’ workshop; the reindeer stable; and a little red caboose. Kansas City Parks Board Meeting
Monday, December 17th at 2pm at KC Parks Administration (4600 East 63rd Street Trafficway). KC Parks is governed by a volunteer five-member Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners who are appointed by the Mayor. The Board of Parks and Recreation holds public meetings twice a month on Tuesday at the Parks and Recreation Department headquarters in Swope Park, 4600 E. 63rd St. All meetings start at 2 p.m. and are open to the public.
