Police identify man who was shot to death in NE home Monday evening

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The man found dead in his home in northeast Kansas City has been identified by Kansas City, Mo., police.

On Monday, Clite R. Weibel, 75, was found dead in his home, 823 N. Kansas Ave. Police were called to the home around 11 p.m. for a report of shots fired in a residence. Upon entering, officers found Weibel dead from an apparent gun shot wound.

No arrests have been announced and the investigation is ongoing.
