La Chalupa Farmers Market
Mattie Rhodes’ La Chalupa Farmers Market will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and features locally grown produce. The farmers market will be held every Thursday at the Mattie Rhodes Center, 148 N. Topping Ave., Kansas City, Mo. SNAP/EBT cards will be accepted.

Kiwanis Chili Day
The Blue Valley Kiwanis Club is hosting an All You Can Eat Chili Day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Blue Valley Salvation Army Building, 6618 Truman Rd., Kansas City, Mo. Cost is $7 and also includes drink and dessert.

Million Dollar Movie
Check out North-East Public Library’s “Million Dollar Movie” at 10 a.m. at the library, 6000 Wilson Rd. Each month the library presents some of the best in classic cinema for your viewing enjoyment. The movies are shown on the library’s big screen, free of charge. Refreshments are provided so sit back, relax and enjoy some cinema magic.

Join North-East Public Library for its weekly story time and craft at 10:30 a.m. Parents and kids will enjoy stories geared toward toddlers and pre-schoolers. Get ready for songs, tongue twisters and dramatic play.

Creative Hand Show & Sale
Sponsored by the Fiber Guild and Weavers Guild of Kansas City, the Creative Hand Show & Sale will feature handcrafted fiber related products and will be held at the Old Shawnee Town, 11600 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kan. The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a fashion show beginning at 7 p.m.

VFW Bake Sale
VFW Aux. 9997 will host a bake sale at the post, 6801 Wilson Rd., Kansas City, Mo., from noon until they run out of goodies.

Creative Hand Show & Sale

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fiber technique demonstrations will be available throughout the day.

Scarritt Renaissance Coffee Club
Scarritt Renaissance Coffee Club will host its monthly meeting from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Feel free to bring a sweet or savory breakfast hors d’oeuvre to share. Coffee will be catered by Eleos Coffee. Check out North-East Public Library’s Sunday Family Movie at the library at 2 p.m.

Hard hat tours
Take a 90-minute tour of Corinthian Hall, the more than 100-year-old home of lumber baron Robert A. Long and his family, with Kansas City Museum Director Christopher Leitch. Visitors will see Corinthian Hall in mid-renovation. Advance registration is required and cost is $5. Tour begins at 12:30 p.m. at the Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd.

The 28th Annual Holly Holly Holly Days Sale will be held at Cristo Rey High School, 211 W. Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. Whatsoever BBQ Auction Fundraiser
The Whatsoever Community Center will host its 25th Annual BBQ Auction beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the center, 1201 Ewing Ave., Kansas City, Mo.
