A 63-year-old man, who was reported missing by his family on Aug. 8, 2011, has now been located.

A man discovered the body of Richard J. Solis while walking through the woods behind 1833 Cambridge and contacted the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) on March 9 at approximately 5:35 p.m.

Officers responded and located a decomposed body, which the medical examiner positively identified as Solis. An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
