KANSAS CITY, Missouri —The victim of a November homicide in the Northeast has been identified as a Kansas City, Kan., man.

According to an email from Sgt. Kari Thompson of the KCPD, Kyle Longdon, 20, was shot and killed near 12th Street and Highland Avenue on Nov. 18, 2014. Longdon and another individual were sitting in a car at the time they were shot. The other victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Thompson said police are still investigating the crime. No charges have yet been filed.
