State Representative Barbara Washington hosted a Town Hall meeting Saturday at the Northeast Chamber of Commerce offices on Independence Avenue.

Washington represents the Missouri’s 23rd District that runs essentially from 9th street south to 35th, Prospect to I-435.

She spoke about bills currently making their way through the Missouri House that are of importance to Kansas City residents including redistricting, lobbying limitations and changes to the laws that cover charter and public school funding.
