This morning at 1:45 a.m., Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) officers were called to East 12th St. and Topping Avenue on an injury crash. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, an adult male, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside a vehicle that had crashed off the side of the road. 

EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel responded to the scene and they will be processing the scene for evidence and canvassing for any potential witnesses.
