Local Boy Scout Troop 80 participated in a 10-day stint at Boy Scout Camp, H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation in Osceola, Mo., the first week of July. From top to bottom: Troop 80 all together for camp. Scout leaders Frank Sarro (left) and Tom Dodson dig out an old tree stump at the campsite. Members of the Indian Tribe-Of-Mic-O-Say, an honor camping society of the Heart of America Boy Scout Council, lead the young members in a “dance of joy.” Six members of Troop 80 participate in the “call foxman” ceremony at the end of camp to bless their journey.
