In an almost fitting observance on the 3 year anniversary of the fatal fire at 2600 Independence Blvd. that took the lives of John Mesh and Larry Leggio, rain fell on the makeshift memorial at the fire site, creating a somber mood. Firefighters have been dropping by throughout the week to pay their respects and leave mementos of their love and friendship for their lost brothers. According to family members, no official activities are scheduled at the site today.
