Animal Control Officer Johnny Tran got a tip on a Boston Terrier stuck in a storm drain on Cliff Drive on Monday.
The dog was emaciated and looked to have been out in the elements for quite a while. After pulling the pooch from the drain and a mile walk back to the truck parked near the Kansas City Museum, we called the number on the dog’s tag.
The owner, who lives near Chouteau Trafficway and Parvin Road indicated the dog had been lost since December 4th and that our phone call made his year.
The dog was transported to KC Pet Project safely and warmly, hopefully for a happy reunion.
