The public is invited to attend the Northeast HELP (Health, Education, Labor and Public Safety) public safety meeting today (Thursday, March 22) at 4 p.m.
Committee members will discuss a neighborhood livability strategy for those living near abandoned and vacant houses and for those who have been affected by property crimes.
Several city leaders will be in attendance, including Kansas City Prosecutor Beth Murano, Legal Aid of Western Missouri Neighborhood Attorney Ron Nguyen, Amelia McIntyre of the Kansas City Attorney’s Office and East Patrol Zone Neighborhood Prosecutor Evalin McClain.
The meeting will be held in the library at the Don Bosco Center, 535 Garfield.
