Two-hundred-forty artists will show off their work this weekend during the 81st Annual Plaza Art Fair.
Artwork will range from jewelry to pottery to glass and more. Featured artists will include those from Missouri and from across the U.S. and British Columbia.
Those needing to satisfy their hunger won’t be disappointed, either. Twenty-seven Plaza restaurants will have booths featuring delectable dishes.
Other activities will include live music; the Kansas City Art Institutes’ Kids Art Workshop which will feature printmaking crafts; Experience ArtsKC which features 24 Kansas City area arts organizations; among other activities.
Each year, the art fair averages more than 250,000 attendees and spans 9 city blocks.
The art fair will be held at the Country Club Plaza Sept. 21 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
