Just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, Kansas City, Mo. Police Department (KCPD) officers were called to the 800 block of Prospect Avenue on a shooting call.
Officers located the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Fire Department EMS personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
There is no suspect information at this time and detectives are continuing the investigation.
