Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly chamber luncheon at noon Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Pho Hoa Noodle Soup, 1447 Independence Ave.
First District Jackson County Legislator Scott Burnett will discuss projects with the Metropolitan Energy Center, along with energy audits and rebate programs. The mission of MEC is to help create resource efficiency, environmental health and economic vitality in the Kansas City region.
The second guest speaker, Dan Cash of KC Harmony, will give a presentation about KC Harmony’s leadership project with area schools. KC Harmony is currently working with Northeast middle school students.
All are welcome to attend. Cost is $15 if you eat lunch and proceeds go toward funding the Chamber.
